pics of bedliner 1' up from bottom of body

hi everyone

haven't been on in a while, but now im back at school and have too much free time, id rather be home working on my truck haha. here's my question, im painting my truck white and want to break up the look of just white so im kicking around the idea of having linex sprayed from the bottom of the body up to the first body line (something like 12 or so inches up) and on a 3" radius around the wheel well so it covers the same area as the stock fender flare. anyone done this or have any pics? i think it would look cherry

thanks for all input

Justin

It a very good idea, done it on a few trucks before but I have no pics. But it does look good and it serves it's purpose well.

Wink >>> be advised <<<

I haven't had any personal experiences with any of the spray-on bed-liner products myself.

But, sooner or later being exposed to just about every truck and trailer in five counties, I get to hear everyone else's adventures with various products.

Very contrary to what I would have expected, I hear that moisture collects under the spray-on liner and rots the metal away.

One friend had an entire brand-new flat-bed trailer frame sand-blasted and coated with the stuff.

Two years later it was a complete rust-bucket.

9453, thats a sharp looking truck! and phil that'd be great if you were able to post the pics, after 7 years no signs of rust underneath or no flaking of the bedliner?

I did a similar stunt on a Suzuki Sidekick years ago. Except I used asphalt undercoat in an aerosol spray bomb. It stuck to anything and easy to touch up... say if some got scraped off from truck beatings. Would do it again - maybe on my white '90
