Pics are in
CS7226s Brand is TRW got them at advance auto parts for about $125.00 the ride is 100% better but I also replaced the upper control arm bushings & the strut rod bushings. Pics dont do it justice the front came up minimum 3 inches maybe alittle more i didnt measure but now the front is higher than the rear I thought maybe it would settle some but ive been driving it a month now and seems to be the same guess ill put some 2in blocks in the rear.

Mine rode like a bouncy mess before the springs and shocks. Both CP and I went with the Gas Magnums and I really like them.
No more feeling like the oil pan is going to trench the road when you go through an intersection.
I did a post on the method we used to change the springs without a spring compressor.

Springs 7226S
I put in 7226S super heavy duty severe springs on my 89 d250 last weekend. VERY pleased. I thought they were going to raise the front higher than the rear, but it turns out that I still have a tad bit of rake, and it doesn't look like a dragster anymore + the ride is great, but I also added monroe gas magnum shocks all around! here are the pics

Hey Jim mine still bounces in the rear real bad but the front doesnt feel so spongy anymore maybe a little stiff but nowhere near like the back. Im looking into some air bags off a second gen may have to fab the brackets but if it works i'll probably take a few leafs out of the rear.
Nice looking truck! Wish mine looked half as good, but I live were the rust never sleeps.
I just put 5716SD springs in mine from Stengel Bros. in PA. Paid $143 for the pair, and I got a full 6" (check my pics) of front lift. I have factory overloads on the back axle in my truck, so it rides just about level now. I had almost no front travel left with my old setup, so the ride is much improved, though still not quite limo quality
If one of those Cummins Marines was to fall off your trailer, I'd sure like to try one in my old Chris Craft SeaSkiff, my CC K block is getting kinda tired after 48 years

Hey MoTthediesel thats quite a lift with those springs! Who is the manufacture of those? They look like they lifted the front even more than the 7226s springs. Very sharp looking truck!

Well, thanks for the compliment, but if you saw it in person you might be less impressed! The colors are a nice combination, but it's got a good bit of rust in the usual places. It also has a slightly crumpled front fender on the drivers side
I'm trying to make it a bit more presentable and that means rubbing a lot of $$ on it. I only paid $2500 for it to start, but it's adding up now!
I don't know who made my springs, but I ordered them from Stengel Bros, their website is: http://www.stengelbros.com/
The 5716SD are listed as RV/Super Duty, and they have a load rating of 3251#, compared to the 7226S, which is rated for 2224#.
