Picked up the 91' Reg Cab last night!!!!

I went and looked at the truck and fell in love with it! The interior is dingy, but nothing is scratched or broken. So a good deep cleaning and it will look like new! Nothing is missing, all the interior is there and the headliner, trim, dash, door panels look almost new. The body only has a couple small quarter size dents, all the molding is there (but its coming off) no rust. The bed looks like it was hardly ever used. Even the bumpers look new. It was never wrecked or bumped into anything. 100% unmolested stock. Even has all 4 dog dish hub caps and beauty rings.

As an added bonus, its got the 3.07 LSD I've been on the hunt for!!! I'll be swapping my engine, trans, wiring harness, radiator core support, grill, front bumper, steering collom(sp?), and clutch/brake pedals. By the time I strip the ext cab down for spare parts, sell the D70 rear, and scrap the rest of the truck I'll come out ahead.

Here are a few pics of the new shell. More to come as I do the swap.

When I pull the hood out of the bed I'll get a pic of the options sticker for you. It is an LE model with power everything and all options I think they offered. I guess every once in awhile you get lucky and come across just what your looking for.

With this reg cab and all the new parts that will be here tomorrow, 12's are going to be really easy. I wonder if I could launch in 3rd boosted and with nitrous maybe hit an 11.99. I bet that record would stand for a very long time!!! Even the 12 second 5 speed VE will stand awhile I'm sure.

launching in 3rd with 3.07's with those short slicks you have shouldn't be a problem. i think you can get 12's......i don't wanna jinx you and say you can get 11's, so i'm gonna say no way

If you are gonna run your custom i/c i highly advise swapping on your I/C rad support.....you will find the early 91 non i/c rad support is pretty different from the 91.5-93 i/c rad support.

and for god sake do not scrap that early 91 rad support, that thing is so rare theres gotta be someone out there that needs it!

I'll be swapping over the core support and new billet grill because they are already cut to fit the big IC. I looked again last night at the hood sticker and its not LSD. So I'm ordering a locker today. BigJohn, you want the cab from the 92'?
