I couldnt agree more. I sold off my 05 and now I am driving my 91.5. I love it. I can park it anywhere and if someone door dings me who cares?? Also, I had a chick in a mazda 3 back into the rear of my truck.. Trashed the plastic bumper on her car, but the dog only had a blue smudge on the bumper from her paint. I only hope a company like LMC starts producing parts for these trucks though. Id love to be able to get reman parts for it.

what about dopes who try to cut in front of you at a light? we're not driving sports cars ya know

or morons who hear my CTD start up in a parking lot, go into reverse, and are still walking right in back of the truck? I had to install a backup beeper to wake some of these people up

ordered a pair of Reunel bumpers for the Guvnah for December delivery

woe to any mortal car that comes into contact with me. these bumpers will rip 'em open like a tin can

Seeing a first gen around North Jersey is a rarity these days unless I pass a mirror. I can't imagine seeing one in NYC! Just how did a first gen kinda guy land in the big apple??

The EXACT same thing happened to me today.

I was parked waiting for a gas pump when some dingbat backed right into the corner of my rear bumper. Put a nice big dent in her plasto-bumper and messed up her paint. It was all her fault, so I looked at my already dented bumper and laughed and said, "well, at least it didn't hurt MY truck...". then I just got back in my truck.

I'm not in New Jack City, I"m in a suburb on the CT border...I can get across the Tappan Zee in about 20 minutes

but man, we 1st genners from the Tri State region need to stick together

you're right about 1st gens up here, they're as scarce as hens teeth! I haven't seen another 1st gen in these parts three months I've owned mine

GOOD THING I LIKE TO BE DIFFERENT

it is a bit of a trip, seeing the expressions on the faces of taxpayers as I'm bearing down on 'em

you should see the looks I get in the rich suburbs, as I tower over posers in their Ferraris, Porsches, Range Rovers, Hummers, etc.

Here's my favorite: when I'm on the highway, in traffic, and there's an ON ramp that folks behind me that were already on the highway start useing as a right side passing lane to get a 100 yds further in traffic. I watch for them, and pull right out into the on ramp and hold my position. And they stagger off to the right a bit every time which lines my tail pipe up with their front grill and we all know what happens next! I hide them behind a little black storm cloud! Jerks
