part number/location for upper a arm?

part number/location for upper a arm?

so went to change both upper ball-joints. The po put new ones in at some point and welded them in!!!! so i need to know were i can find new ones i dont realy want to use a junk yard one cause there from an 1988 and they have been sitting there for a long time so if you have a part number or some were i can find a new one for both sides thanks!

All the upper arms are swappable gas/diesel and half, 3/4 or 1-ton. Just install the correct balljoint. Find the best looking ones you can.... they commonly rust & break.

I did the ones on my '95 (I know not 1st gen) last year and got them both from Napa. Same thing...the PO had welded in the balljoints and they needed replaced.

If memory serves I spent about $230 per side.
