Have you taken off the kick plates so you can adjust the bolts that hold the door hinge to the truck? It takes a while to get them right.

It's alot easier if u hav help!! And yes it's frustrating. Patience is your best friend. I know I just re-installed 1 of my doors w/new hinges today. 20 tries to get it all lined up and the gaps right. If you don't have help a floorjack helps alot too. What part are you havin trouble with? Good luck.

I always remove the pin thingy in the door jamb that the latch latches on then adjust the door to fit then reinstall the catch. Keeps the latch from moving the door when you shut it when checking for fit.

I had to re-adjust both my doors last year by myself after I swapped the cab. It sure was a PITA... I don't know if there is any certain key thing I can suggest that helps it's a lot of trial and error. Put the door on with all the hingle bolts a little loose so you can slide it a little bit. Carefully close the door and see if you can fix any gaps with the door closed, get it adjusted close as possible. Then tighted the bolts where the hinge mounts to the cab so that half is done. Then open the door and tinker with the bolts that mount to the door for fine tuning/gapping.

I don't know, give it a try. I definitely had to loosen all the bolts that attach to the door as well as the cab so I could just get the door closed.

Maybe that will help... if you're by yourself like I was and the door isn't on the truck yet sit in the doorwell in the cab with your feet on the ground.prop the door on your thigh just above your knee (it sorta hurts a little after a while because it digs into your leg) and use your leg and 1 arm to line it up with the hinges and do the bolts with the other hand. That was about the best way I could find to get the doors on there by myself...
