Paint Scratch

Is there a easy way to remove paint scratches from sanding primer? I hit the primer with 80 grit and now no matter how many coats of primer I put on, I can see the marks

Try wet sanding it with 220 wet/dry paper. 80 grit is way to coarse for primer, but you know that now.

Yep, 80 grit is for rough work. The easiest way is to get yourself high build primer.

Hit it with 180 and it cleaned up. I just need to block it out more. I have some high and low spots but not a whole lot really.

What is a good grit for scuffing up primer? Most the new panels coming from detriot are prime red black.

If you are using a block by hand then scuff the pre primed panel with 400. If you are scuffing the thin black e-coating use 400.
