the he351vgt's are showing up on more and more p-pumpers since they now have a controller for the vanes... they sound amazing by the way!!! ever heard a 6.0 powerstroke turbo?? yeah... the whistle is the same, only better cuz it's coming from a cummins. that's the ONLY thing i like about the powerjokes.

Is someone making a stand alone controller now? (sorry for the hijack!)

 

fleece performance makes a stand alone controller. It's not on their website, you have to call. As for the he351 non-vgt on a p-pump, I would say it would be worthwhile, depending on overall power goals. It's the same compressor wheel as the vgt (same holset part number) and the wastegates flow pretty well too.

 

Once the pump is on I'll go twins....... I have the head off and I'm going to send it in for springs and O ring.
