p-pump converted guys got a Q

I heard it was a tight fit to get good clearance in front of the brake vac. booster. The VE pump is way smaller than the P7100 (space limitations). The whole engine deal and take off what you need is soundin better and better with all the parts needed.
Has anyone done this or knows someone who did and what are your power numbers? Sounds like youd definiately need a good intercooler to keep the engine cool. What a sleeper it would be.

Although my son and I put a complete ('96) P pumped engine in his '90 you can see there is clearance behind the inj pump and brake cyl. So I don't see a problem converting a VE, it's just a matter of having enough of the green stuff......

That looks really good in there, nice clean install. Im thinkin I may just pull the motor, and freshen it up while im at it. I spose more then a few of my 337K mile original gaskets need replacing. Thanks for all the info guys, I really appreciate it!
