Since you live in Orange just got to Cummins Cal Pacific. Exit the 55 fwy at Dyer.

1939 Deere Ave.
Irvine CA 92606
Get your new t stat from them. It is where I get my parts.

do you happen to know if they could get me an i/c'd thermostat housing? without having to worry about a CPL engine serial number, of course. hopefully i can just ask for the parts that i need and get them without any hassle.

If you have the part number they do not need the engine number. I have picked up parts both ways from them.

Here is the phone number- 949-253-6000 or 800-746-5757

sweet! thanks dmosher. that being said, how about the part number for an i/c'd t-stat housing? lol i looked through the sticky and didn't see it listed. i'm sure it may not be available through the dealer.

You're better off getting the IC'd t-stat housing from the classifieds, ebay or the like. It will be super high dollar from Cummins. If you can find a ESN for a 91.5-98 Dodge truck or have someone give you theirs, it will be helpful for the parts guy at the blue C to find what you want. A t-stat housing from a 94-98 12 valve will work but you'll need that style t-stat and 2 orings.
