Overhead console

Anybody use the one from JC Whitney? Hows the fit? Other brands?

I'm gonna order some insulation from them, and a carpet from Summitt. Thought the console might be nice.

Re:Overhead console

I have the "Shelf It" from JC Whitney. It works real nicely. All metal construction with a felt like covering. I put my cb and linear up there. I did go ahead and leave off the sun visors since they stick down so low on the shelf it.

Think I'll try one. Need to put CD's somewhere, til I can afford a new split bench w/console arm rest. Need to find a clean cup holder too. Hard enuff eating those BK Tacos without having to hold the drink too

Cup Holder:
I bought a simple neat universal cup holder at Walmart. Its suppose to squeeze down between split bench seats, I bolted it in front of my console to hold two extra drinks, change, junk, or to set a bag of fast food on while driving.

Re:Overhead console

I did end up getting the one from JC Whitney. I like it. I put the sun visors back on, and with a little bending, they work all right. I did press up slightly in the center of the shelf to put a slight bend in it. Should help it support itself in the center, and helps raise the visors a bit.
