Question Oops I have a leak..

Tonight I started to smell diesel fuel from the wrong end of the truck and a spot on the ground where I had stopped.
I checked for the leak and it is coming from the injection pump, it is under the fitting that is at the end if the line from the KSB solenoid where it is connected to the top of the pump.
There is a strange looking nut (only has 2 flats) that I assume is holding it down.

What is under this fitting and what do I need to repair it.
Is it something special, an o-ring or a gasket?
I am not home from work yet but I have to fix it ASAP
Why did this start leaking from here?

Also while on the question of leaks, It looks like there is some oil leaking out from around a head bolt by #5 valve cover.

Were these supposed to be retorqued at sometime long ago? Is this something I can fix or do I need to replace the head gasket?
Thanks for the info.
Jim

Jim, that strange looking nut holds the pressure regulator for the pump, IIRC there's a couple of internal O-rings and the banjo should be two copper washers, one of the top and one on the bottom. Careful when you go to tighten it, I'm not sure how strong it is.

What side of the engine is the head bolt thats leaking? If it is pushing oil up there I assume its on the drivers side because there are no oil passages on the passenger side.

I've got oil coming up on the driver side close to the firewall, too...never thought about a head bolt...

Is there a special wrench for the KSB bolt?

It looks like it is leaking at the bottom of the banjo where it mates to the cover. Is this something I need to get from Bosch or is it a standard metric copper washer?

Is there a torque on this or is it snug and a bit more?

Why does it choose now to start leaking? I did nothing to offend it.

The head bolt is on the passenger side, second step down by the manifold, that is why I dont see how it is leaking oil.
