I would have been happier if it was black, but I really don't care. You can't see it anyway unless you really look hard.

I don't see what the big deal is. I needed to a quick solution to a very bad problem and I fixed it.

I was just goofin' with you! It was mostly a joke about the guys that go to Pep Boys and buy a fart cannon and throttle body spacer to bolt onto their old, beat Honda Civic with rims that are worth more than the car and honest to god believe it adds 30hp to a 100hp engine. The same guys that truly believe ground effects kits and Speed Racer Spoilers make their polished turd handle better.

It IS a good solution to a pretty annoying problem. It aggravates me when companies cheap out on stuff like that. At least another company built a decent solution. To me a couple hundred bucks is well worth only having to do that job ONCE and never again.

I finished off the original seals by smoking my daughter-in-law's STI, one with a tune, exhaust, and a bunch of other stuff. I have struck fear, if not respect in the boy and girl racer community with my big heavy 4x4 truck.
Now they are egging me on to finish my stroker na 5.7 Hemi Dart (1969 GT) because they have heard all the old stories about my exploits in my hemi Road Runner and 'Cuda 383. My truck can't beat their super high up Subies and Evo's, but my Dart will!

Man! You got ALL the toys! I was going to drop a 383 into a '71 Dart Swinger that I had but the a factory H code (340 car) '71 Demon with the original motor and small block 727 came up and I sold the Dart project to partially finance the Demon.

Ugh...never should've sold either of those cars.

HAD all the toys. I sold the Hemi car '85 for $6k, it just sold again a few months ago for $83k. Sold the 'Cuda in the late 80's for $3,500, it's worth $40k now... sigh.

Oil seperator

Nice work.
Looks to hold about 1/2 gallon before the ss wool stops filtering , should make it low maintenance . Were dose the 2nd hose go? I assume the 1st goes to the breather on the side of the block.
If you find it fills faster than expected check your vac pump. It vents to the case and can simulate bad rings/excessive blow-by. I have to install the vac pump reseal kit (brakes are taking longer to build-up on startup, after sitting days).

The other hose goes to an adapter I made for the fill tube (on my 3D printer out of ABS). I replaced the number one valve cover with one that has an oil fill cap.
