Question Oil Filter removal

I'm doing my 3rd oil change guys and am wondering how other 1st genners remove the oil filter? I've had to remove the "tube" running to the turbo to get at mine from the top. The truck is a little high to get at from underneath, so I'm seeing what others do.

Wink Oil Filter Removal

You're doing it the same way I do. Gives me a chance to service the air cleaner so I don't mind.

I pull the air tube and air filter and then slip a trash bag over the oil filter from the bottom to contain the mess, remove the filter and drain it and the bag into my oil bucket. Fill the new filter with new oil and reinstall as per instructions on the filter. Clean, inspect air filter and inlet piping, inspect the turbo and carefully reinstall with a new BHAF if needed. Start her up and look for leaks. Then I have a good excuse to go for a test ride. Doesn't take much of an excuse for me.
