O/D & CGO Light switches

I am trying to hook up the O/D switch to just an on/off, no light or anything. There are 4 spades on the back of the switch anyone know which ones I need? Same for the Cargo Light switch, it has 4 spades.....

OK, I am not getting anything off the wiring diagrams, I have read the stickys and ran a search......can some one please help me out here.

The O/D switch has 8 slots across the back in two rows of four. The top row has a spade in the #4 position, the bottom row has 3 spades, one in #1, one in #2 and one in #4. I have a Hobbs Switch with two plain black wires to an existing switch for on and off, where do I put them on this one?

The Cargo Light has the same two rows of four. The top row has no spades, the bottom row has 3 spades, one in #1, one in #2 and one in #4. I need it to function as a simple on/off switch for my interior lights.

I have just the switches, no wire plug-ins, so please tell me what goes to what spade to make it work.

Thanks.

I'm out on the road so I don't have access to diagrams, but you need to know that the od switch is just a momentary push button, not an on/ off switch. It also has a pilot light. A few minutes with an ohmmeter should prove enlightening.

On the OD switch
Dark blue/white stripe is power for lamp
Black/orange stripe is grounded by PCM to light lamp
Black is body ground (21-1 splice) for switch
Orange/white stripe is momentary ground to PCM to toggle OD.

OD on/off is toggled by the PCM. An on/off (toggle) switch won't work, and a momentary switch is near useless without a lamp.

I intend to set up a bat handle switch to do the job on mine, and switch the exhaust brake at the same time. It will take some electronic logic to make it work. It has to sense the position of the OD toggle (by sampling the lamp) and pulse the PCM to switch it if appropriate.

On the cargo lamp switch:
Pink is power
black is ground
Brown/yellow stripe goes to lamp
Indicator lamp is wired to the lamp terminal internally.

The diagrams I linked in post #3 has the layout of the switches. They're in the little dotted line boxes.

All the information in this post was derived from those 2 diagrams.
