nv4500 conversion without a kit can it be done?

have searched and came back with so many returns i could not
go through them all and the ones i did read had some but not all
of the answers i was looking for!
and when i posted in the past maybe what i think i am asking
is not what you read (i am not a great communactor or so i have
been told)

93 (ex getrag) 5 speed 4x4 if i do not use a kit from anyone what do
i need to have to do a getrag to nv4500 conversion?

lets say i have
nv4500 4x4 trans
the bellhousing 94-up
the clutch slave/master cylnders
the shifter

what do i need from this point
the adapter from the engine to the transmission
the starter motor
do i need a 94-up flywheel?
what else?

how do i deal with the transfer case linkage?
it is my understanding the nv4500 will bolt directly
up to my 205 case correct or would i be better off
looking for a differnt case?

i just need to make sure i am ready to roll soon
but could realy use yer help

i would also like to upgrade to a roller bearing
pilot but need the bearing number and instructions
on how deep to cut the flywheel

PM Proram. He's done the conversion a few times, including my project. He'll have a good grasp of what's necessary.

This is what you need to do it without a kit.

all 94+
Transmission/shifter
Bellhousing
Engine adaptor
Starter
Slave cylinder and line

You will have to either mill the t-case input sleeve down or pull the seal out of the rear of the NV 4500, and build your own t-case shifter mounts. The drive shafts will be the same length, unless you go with an nv5600. Original flywheel is the same. THe 205 is about the stoutest t-case you can find, keep it. That and the 94+ are drivers side exit.

Can't help you with the pilot bushing/bearing, I would contact Quad 4X4 or any of the performance places every one knows about. I've bee hearing good and bad things about the bearings, I say the original bushing lasted 260k, as far as I know, so a new one should be good for just as long.

Did I miss anything?
