So on saturday was doing spring time check up on truck, noticed oil leaking from output shaft on transfercase. went and got parts , cawled under truck and pulled rear driveshaft and output shaft yoke nut fell off . is this nut a one time use only nut ?, has this nut been known to come off? any ways locktited it and torqued it as I was cleaning up noticed fuel tank strap rotted out at frame off to parts store again.

I couldnt source one in the time I had to have my truck on the road. I reused it with lock tite and I used a chisel to steak it. Mines still tight after a few thousand miles. But if you have the time to find one I would get a new one.

when I rebuilt mine, the output nut was loose. I just torqued it when I put it back together. I better loctite it one of these days though...
