pulled the transmission today and toolk off the top cover because it had a piece broken out of it...found that its broken on the front on both sides top to bottom..so thats where my leak was from and the bellhousing was broke in 4 diff places..so just an update to the continuing saga wish i had known all this was going to occur there was a complete nv4500 setup available not long ago

Oliver was it you who just got a used tranny recently? Or maybe a whole truck with a 'rebuilt' one that wasn't done right? There was someone on here that got jipped pretty bad...

no it wasnt me and hate that happened to anyone after talking with a few people and looking at the damage i think our conclusion is that this truck was hit in the front at one time and the consensus is that the bellhousing probably was broken some then due to older looking cracks and then when i started pulling the truck (loaded gooseneck trailer) it just went south from there no way to know what exactly happened except to clean up the aftermath...so far its looking like money and time...hope everyone has a great 4th weekend and be safe
