Hey guys i need to make my truck a better daily driver. So what do you think i should do? Just rebuild the 727(with better parts of course) but then im still limited to 3.07s and if those blow(knowing my luck) itd be hard to find a replacement.. Id like to do a getrag swap but im not sure on where to find the parts. I really want a standard but im trying to find a place that would sell everything id need. honest opinions what would you do. not afraid to spend some cash on this one. Id just like to get everything id need from one place, Thanks

 

Find a donor, shouldn't be too hard to find a 5spd donor truck up that way....in the rust belt.

 

ive been lookin for a donor but no luck so far

 

Kiesler Engineering our of Knoxville should be able to set you up with a 5 or 6 speed with everything you need including a hydraulic clutch.
