Just took a trip up the 5 freeway to the inlaws up in Washington, ( Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor) , drove the Mother-in-law's Prius ! Saw lots of 1st gens, all the way! most were working hard infront of trailers. Must have seen 20 or so here in Oak harbor. Lot of good lookin rigs, considering the rain. There is even a sweet one for sale, didn't stop to look at it, its a white reg cab, about the same vintage as mine ( Pristine!) but the wife started whining about how I just ot one . No DTR decals up here, maybe we need to air drop recruitment leaflets or do a youtube video . Lot of 2nd and 3rd gens as well, need to get all these guys who secrety love ctd's out of the shadows and grow the DTR nation . Anyway, just figured I'd report on my trip up the left, I mean west coast

Seriously guys...........we really should plan a NW 1st Gen Meet sometime. Perhaps on the westside of Washington State, since so many folks are from around that area (northwestern Oregon too). I'd love to see some 1st gens in person. When it comes to Dodge Diesel pickup meets, it seems that the newer pickups always out-number the old ones. Lets start throwing some ideas down!
