Nooo!!!

I got the slip joint put in my truck yesterday. Dropped the trans pan and put a new filter in. The cloth was loose from the metal rib about half way around it. Not good, I know. Turned the line pressure up a 180 degree turn of the screw. It didn't feel like it made any difference. Went to go to the bar last night, and heard something splashing. So I looked where I had just backed away from, and there was all my new trans fluid. I knew I had a leak but couldn't find one on the trans. Blew a cooler line. I didn't look close, I pulled it back in and took the boss's truck I've been driving.

Yeah the extra pressure helps you find the leaks you were going to have anyways, a lot quicker.

I had been loosing trans fluid, but didn't know where, once I got the pan back on I started it but didn't have any dripping anywhere.

I'm hoping I can just get a new clamp. The one looked a little tired yesterday.
