non ic turbo upgrade

I just got done over at HTT website, and it states that thier Stage 2,3,etc Compressors will not work on stock non IC'd trucks. Do I have any options on a better compressor housing? Something that I can actually hear would be nice.

This is what I found at HTT......

For H1C, WH1C model Holset turbos

This upgrade will convert your stock H1C or WH1C turbo into a H1C/H1E or WH1C/WH1E hybrid turbo. (This upgrade utilizes an 8 blade wheel and requires no machine work.)
This housing and wheel mounts to your stock 12 valve 1992-1994 (It only bolts directly to the 91 trucks that came equipped with air-to-air charge air cooler.) Your stock compressor wheel measures 56mm unless your truck is a one ton. This upgrade wheel measures 60mm.
No internal turbocharger modifications to your turbo are required.
*This modification should be used in combination with a turbine housing larger than 12cm2.*
Note: Some 1994 WH1C turbos have been replaced in the field with HX35W turbos so verify your turbo part number with us).

****
(Our Stage I upgrade (not listed) will increase your H1C 54mm turbos to a 56mm, ported shroud housing turbo.)

NOTE: I think the Stage1 will make your H1C into a H1E
This should be about equal to a HX35
Give em a ring (801) 304-0700 they will tell you for sure.

I believe the only problem you will have is the turbo outlet to your crossover
tube. The late ones use a flange to flange mount and a v-clamp (no crossover).
The old ones use a rubber connection and 2 hose clamps (with crossover).
I put a HX35 on a 90 model BUT I had to make modifications at the connection.

i put an stage III on mine and it was a pain. i love it being on there and it was worth it. but it took me about 3 hours to put it on. ill try to get some pics of what i did. right now it looks redneck but it is sealed tight and works good. i thinks it great thing to have it just takes some work to do.
