New Radiator

I need a new radiator, my new engine is almost done and I was going to get a new radiator to go with the new engine, but with summer here I can not wait, PO used well water in the radiator and it is all plugged with mineral deposits. Anyone have a source for good heavy duty radiators (not typical Auto Zone crap) price is less of a concern than quality.

You can get it rotted out (cleaned thoroughly) at a radiator shop for $50-75, and itll work like new, and look it too.

I agree you should be able to get it boiled out and cleaned, but if you want to replace it, try www.chryslerpartsdirect.com, or NAPA or just Google for them, they arent hard to find really...

r.d upgrade

i have a repair shop, and when a job calls for increased cooling where no larger hd option is available, ill have my local radiator shop order a custom "mx" crimp tube core, unlike the straight tube, the crimp swerve configuration removes heat much better, 18 fins per inch max, for best efficiency, more fins restricts, less inefficient, keep good prestone 5 yr. coolant in the system, with distilled water, and youll never see deposits again, if you want mx info, email me, joe.
