well I'm starting on it again next weekend got the gas motor n tranny sold so now it's time to crack down and get my Butt moving plan is the pull whole front clip and drop motor n trans out then finish strippin the underside fuel tank lines and anything the gasser had that the diesel doesn't and then at same time also finish stripin new part's truck we picked up get this it's a 80's body n frame but has early dash and is reg as a 73 but has a sweet looking 440 in it has newer front spring's that look to be atleast 6 in plus nice shock's plus and super clean dana 60 front axle n 205 t case buddy want's the 440 and I am going to use pretty much all the body work I can .once we get both truck's striped then the welding start's converting it to 4 x on the crewcab Stay tuned More fun along with Pictures of build to follow

got the motor n trans gone pulled the bed dropped the fuel lines and tank getting ready to finish pulling the 4x4 donor apart today n go from there Stay tuned

Update All the part's truck's are cut up into Pieces ready for scrap yard now the fun begin's bed is off all the old gas tank n fuel lines n vent lines are out front clip is off 4x4 frontend is going under the truck next weekend and this time I will take pictures going to run the D60 HDin the rerar for a while don't think I'm going to hurt it have a New set of B F Goodrich Baja TA's 37x12.50Rx16.5 tires sitting in Garage waiting for me to finish this thing up .

Well working by myself most of the time makes things go slower then normal had good weather so this weekend got alot done had to cut up 1 of my part's truck's to make more room but started with a truck with no front clip an a 440 motor .trans n t case sitting in frame and within 2 hr's had it cut up to 4 ft section's then got the rivet's cut off of the front section so I can use the engine 4x4 cross member and spring mount's like I said hope to have frontend bolted in the truck next weekend and then the fun of putting the puzzle together begin's

how much for the 440? or a 400 if you got one.

i got a 69 monaco(polara) conv. that has a nice 383 in in but id like to build something i can beat on and not worry about my numbers matching 383

Well Being my Buddy is a Worse case Dodge Nut it's not for sale but I am sure he has enough part's laying around to build 1 I will PM you when he send's me a answer and Thank you again for shipping that I hope to set the motor n trans in Next weekend or atleast that's the Plan

Well for Health reason's it's going on Hold for the next Month or so Have to have a surgery on my leg and won't be out of hospital till right before Christmas so I get to start the New year off by healing{I hope anyway } got the fuel tank in and started working on the back tank mount's where spare goes have to trim the cross member but look's to fit snugly into the frame area got my Body lift on the cab {2in} and that's pretty much it for now Left the Camera in my truck and got too tired to drag it out and take pictures but I will next trip .

well back at it again got the dash switched over along with heater system n Steering column waiting on my Welder buddy to help with frontend so that's the Next big step once we get frontend set then I can drop the motor n trans in and then the Fun begin's bolting everything back together Slowly but Surely it Will be sdone this Yr . I will add link to pictures later I don't take many cause that mean's I have to Stop working to do them and when it get's to Hot I don't wanna work anymore so I concentrate on wrenching while I can

No way I sold them for what I payed for the complete set and ended up with the Tires for free I picked up a set of Factory Dodge mag's that i have the tires mounted on .

Well with the shade and cooler it was alot less when I was working on the truck weather it was up top or under it it was Nice More to be done on Sunday

cool project did it already have the front spring mounts on the frame? I've seen some older 2wds that did.
