New Paint Job
Ok, all you classics!
What should I pay to have my once beautiful forest green 93 dodge repainted right. I'm willing to paint it once and that's it! If I got to cough up good money I will, I just want it to look beautiful again and last until they bury me in it!

Re:New Paint Job
I assume the door jams and such are ok and don't need paint? I'm also assuming the inside of the box will not be painted (perhaps rhinolined or something). Also assuming no rust, but a fair share of 'use dents' With those assumptions, I'd say $3000 is a starting point.

Re:New Paint Job
If im not mistaken your in Calif. Im on the coast and they wont even look at a truck for under $1500, and that is probably comparable to the $29.95 Earl Schieb of them days gone by. But I have taken trucks to Bakersfield and had them painted for under $500. No doubt you get what pay for so they say, but some areas are hit hard by AQMD regulations so high dollar paint equptment is required and some areas were grandfathered in to "easy" regs. I would definately look at the quality of there work, but a trip to the valley might be worth a look.Let us know, my 93 is in need of help soon also.
Goodluck.
