New LED turns and speakers this weekend

Wanted to do my gauges this weekend since I was off (1st full weekend since new years) but couldn't get them. So I bought a new amp and front door speakers. My last amp got wet in my last truck and fried. The speaker were the oringinals i guess, cheap paper cone, I disconected them long time ago, they sounded like crap. Went to make a box to put behind the seat and my buddy wanted the old box and subs, so i sold them and just bought a cheap 10" truck box. Gonna get another one some time. All sounds good now. I also did the LED turns on the fender like Jim Lane did, but mine are clear with amber LED's and have a little chrome trim peace. I didn't read the sticky and didn't make a gasket between so I didn't like the fit. But I know how to fix that now. I have pics and Ill get some more tonight and post them later.

That is neat, what was the manufacture of your lamps? Do they have the reflective prisms in the corners?

The ones I used also had stainless steel bezels but I decided not to use them.
How did you connect the wires to the lamp socket?

Jim

The lights are "hana truck sport" 12 LED. I couldn't find any rubber to put behind there so i looked around and found that peel and stick foam, sealed all the gaps and everything real nice. I think I might take the chrome off too because its not sitting all the way down and I'm afraid that it will get caught on tall weeds or brush. I was gonna make a plug like yours but radio shack was closed, I just too blade connectors and bent them just a but and stuck them in the plug between the rubber and the contacts.
