Wanna, I have a few pictures of mine but it is a non i/c core support so maybe not any help. My pipes are nothing fancy.

dave, if you need a test subject for any of your idea let me know . Mine has some pin holes it and am in need of new one . i too will be putting one on in the spring.

Yeah, mine is between the A/C condenser and the radiator. I had to hack the grille up pretty bad and cut the middle out of the valance panel. I think I want to put the IC all the way out front and I'm looking for bracketry ideas.
