new guy,,,fuel leaking above filter ,,help.

my truck is leaking fuel right above the fuel filter ,,someone told me it could be the quad ring,,,i dont know anything about that and was wandering if anyone had a diagrahm of it,,and what gaskets are there,,any help would be greatly appreciated,,,

Sounds like the fuel heater o ring. Very common. $2 or so at the cummins dealer. There is also a napa oil filter gasket that will work if you don't have a local cummins dealer. Sorry I don't have part numbers handy.

Easy fix though.

welcome, im newish as well and had the same problem. there is a fuel heater oring that was leaking on mine. went to cummins dealership with my engine serial number and it cost about $2 for the oring and bout $15 for next day shipping. lol pretty simple fix took me bout 20 minutes and the leak was gone.
