New exhaust? Stacks or 4" duals??
New exhaust? Stacks or 4" duals??
Well I need new exhaust all the way. I don't now if I should put stacks on or just my good ol 4" dual that I always put on. What do you think. I what it loud of course if I do the duals I think I am going to put some of magnaflows new 6"x24" tips on or 6" stacks miter cut just above the cab. Which way is going to be cheaper. I have never done stacks before. How much are they going to cost? Thanks for the input

Either way will be custom, nobody makes a bolt-on kit for 1st gens. Do what you like, the cost will probably be about the same. Chrome costs money, but so do custom bent 4" tailpipes. The stacks can be made from off-the-shelf truck parts.
AAHHH stacks. Had a set on my 70 dodge 1/2 ton (340 auto 4.11) Inside the box corners or that hokey outside the box stuff? Either way don't forget the heat shields, or you'll fry anything that touches them. (cargo, luggage, coolers, peat moss bags, kids, pets etc) Stacks are waaaayyyy louder in the cab and I found them really annoying after about 2 hours on the road (unless they are at least 2 feet above the cab) . Inside also negate a topper or tonneau cover. Your call as to what YOU wanna do with Your truck. Just some food for thought Rick
