New '93 W250

Hey guys. Newbie around here. Just picked up a '93 Dodge W250 with the Cummins from a fella I know. It was a one owner and used to putt around town here in FL and tow his boat (20') down to the ramp. All in all she's in good shape. Needs new tires, since the ones are dry rotted, but no serious issues besides A/C not blowing cold. Size on the rollers are 33x12.5x16.5

Picked her up for $2800. 167k on the ticker. No leaks on the engine, but the tranny pan needs a gasket. One small ding on the side. Mild lift on her too. Auto trans. So what do you think, did I get a good deal or pay about average? On to the pictures!!!

I'd like to get a set of nice tow mirrors. Still looking around for some. It needs a headliner. I know I could google it, but quick link to the stock marker lights, I've seen them on a few trucks, but I'm still undecided about if I want them.

You got a good deal. People generally pay well over $4K on eBay for a truck of equal caliber.

I'm calling the police, as you stole that truck....

Good for you, man... Never saw a bench seat in one of those before...

Thanks for all the nice comments fellas. I really love driving this thing. I plan on doing some soft mods to her, and getting a lot of the routine maint out of the way. the truck was looked after, so I don't have too much to do on her. I'm undecided on the bench seat. I really think I'd like to swap in 1st Gen Buckets or the 2nd Gen Buckets on those rails.

Anyone know of a resource to get ahold of a factory FSM, or repair manual? I've found the Chilton's, but it doesn't cover diesel models.

I'll be the one with the anxious look waving a fistfull of cash......Ben

Bwahaha. Nice one! best part of the deal, if I can't remedy the A/C with a recharge, the seller said he'd give me back $200 to go towards a total overhaul and conversion. Super nice guy.

The vehicle prices in the south might just make the heat, hurricanes, arachnids, and deadly reptiles bearable. I am really hating the rust belt lately, as I have seen a few guys make good deals on rust free southern trucks for very low dollars. Very good deal.
