Thanks for the link you posted, Unclet, for the seats. They make some real nice stuff, although I'm kind of afraid to call and ask about pricing.

I sent them an email through their website with a link to this thread. Hopefully i will hear back soon. The lack of a back seat for the kiddo is one of my biggest complaints with my 1st Gen.

Response from Qualitex:

We make replacement rear seats for Ford and Chevy's 1980-2005. We do not make rear seats for the Dodge. The Dodge rear seat mounts differently than the Ford and Chevy and Qualitex does not make a direct bolt in seat for any Dodge.
So I'm wondering if that was a Ford or Chevy rear seat that uses some sort of modified mounting bracket to support it????

That's weird that they said that, 'cause on their website it says if you have a different application then contact them and they'll see what they can do. I guess that only applies if you have a Ford or Chevy.

I've got a feeling that it was a retrofit; Ford/GM seat with a unique bracket of some sort. Either that or they used to make Dodge rear seats back in the day and as demand fell they got rid of the line.

It's a shame 'cause that seat looks great in there! I also would like a place for the kinder to sit safely.

Seems odd and I'm not sure where the original owner got the seat but the material matches the front seats perfectly.

My truck has a seat out of an older ford supercab. You can look at cLAYH gallery for pics. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...73113_1394.JPG

My grandpa had that seat in his ext cab. Not much leg room my under 6 yr old cousins could fit.
