New 1st Gen Owner....hopefully. Help
That was close!!!
Before I travel 7hrs to go pick it up, I decided I would run a CarFax Report on the VIN. He had the truck posted on Ebay with 150k miles.....in 1998 it was serviced at 190,000 miles. I will not be purchasing that truck and the search continues.
It's a shame, 'cause it could be a good truck, but the lying would kill the deal for me too.
Yeah, I was pretty bummed last night because I know deals are pretty scarce out there.
If it had 190,000 miles in 1998, it could easily be 300,000 miles now and I just don't want somebody's problematic vehicle to start off with.

I would be willing to bet this one needs absolutly nothing. And if your up for a road trip I'd give you a ride out there if you pay the fuel.

I love my truck. I'm always tinkering and trying to fix one thing and when I get that I'll tweek a little and cause another leake or somthing to go out. I'll fix that and make another. I love it. It's my pet project. All in all I think it's only let me down once and that was me being a retard mudding it.
