Need a power source
I'm finally getting to hook up my pre luber and need a power source under the hood, preferably on the driver side. It needs to be hot when the key is on run and start positions. Not a lot of juice is needed, its just for a signal.

The connector on one of those wires was worn and loose. Kept loosing contact with out falling off.

I found a better spot. The small wire feeding the forward heater relay. Just crimped an eye on my new wire. No need to mess with the factory wiring which is getting hard and brittle. Works like a charm.

hey-Hey!!!,
WHen I put on a 4601 electric lift pump I used the FSS power to trip a relay primary to power the fuel pump. The only additional load is the relay solenoid and it switches the higher current to run the pump. IIRS it was a 30A fog light relay. Also, if you're going to run extra stuff, the dual posted Optima Blue battery is quite useful. Regular posts for the OE stuff and a pair of 5/16" studs for the extras.
cheers,
Douglas
