need help gathering odd parts...

i have a powerstroke intercooler setup going on the very near future. the quicker i get these odds and ends found and ordered the better.

1- i got the aluminum elbow that goes from the intake side of the turbo the the short straight intercooler pipe. the first thing i need to know is what size is the V-band clamp that clamps that elbow to the turbo???

2- i will be running stock first gen IC pipes to my powerstroke IC and i measured the inlet and outlet of the intercooler to be 3 inches and my ic pipes i beleive are only 2.5 inches. were can i get good couplers and do my measurements seem correct.

the boots you'll need to make the tubes work with the bigger intercooler inlets are here http://www.frozenboost.com/index.php...27828eb2541604

3" to 2.5"

just get some 3" exhaust pipe and make 3" pipes out of them, then get one bent for the intake side and then see if you can get a 24 valve intake horn. I've heard they are just as good.

To answer your question, the v-band clamp is a 2.5". Your measurement of the i/c piping is correct at 2.5" as well. When the 3" tubes come around, you'll need a 3" to 2.5" reducer as Brandon said. As well as 3" to 3.25" reducers as the i/c inlet and outlet are 3.25".

hey-Hey!!!,
Columbus Diesel has those clamps. I got a spigot from them to adapt an HX35 to a non-ID-ed custom cross over pipe I'll be making.
cheers,
Douglas
