Need help on engine harness rewire of my 93 dodge 250 318 magnum truck
I recently had wire fry at my fuseable link on my 93 dodge truck. My fuse box sparked few weeks ago and I was stranded till next day when I found the wire. Then another one came loose and wasnt really anything left to rewire. It looked like it ran to a red wire going to a relay. So I jumped a wire to it and it ran. But didnt take long for it to get hot and it started frying wires everywhere. I looked underneath and the fuel pump wire burned all rubber to inside and I replaced it. I replaced my engine harness from one in junk yard but at time didnt realize it was a different year. They cut the wires on harness going into the generator. I hooked up my old connect cable from generator to plug in were all wires are bunched together and hooked the blue wire they had cut that's on split on fuel injectors. I know it's the ignition wire. I hooked up the green wire that goes to the computer. But I never saw what they cut the second black wire from. Its almost as big as the other cable. It's not the battery ground. It's still hooked up that goes to the water pump and then second black ground cable that goes to my generator. My coil cam and crank sensor is hooked up my computer and injectors. But one 3 wire plug that has maybe 8 inch lead from the harness that goes down into the trans and exhaust. And new harness was only for single exhaust and no hook up for my second exhaust. Truck doesn't crank from switch but from black wire from starter it does. I primed it to and nothing. Anyone can help and can call and tell me at 4232137776. Thank you.
Welcome to the forum. This is a diesel truck forum and there can be major differences in the wiring. If someone here does know, they will chime in, but, you would probably get more help on a gasser site, good luck...Mark
