Check the steering coupler on top of the steering box for wear.

Mine was all wore out and an $11 rebuild kit from the dealer solved the problem.

The ball joints will help and the camber adjustments on the upper control arms (at the pivot point) will do the fine tuning, as long as all the control arm bushings are in good shape. As far as part I go to either autozone or order them from RockAuto (they seem to be the cheapest I have found).

Are there barings in the pivot point that may be worn out also. Or are the ball joints all that are there at the pivot point?

I think you're talking about the king pin bearing. One on top and one on bottom. And whats all of this talk about contol arms on your W350?

These trucks have kingpin front axles, the upper has a steel cone and plastic cup with a preload spring, the lower is on a tapered roller bearing. There are no balljoints to be found. It's really quite bulletproof and reliable, but, when things wear out, you can have camber issues without any play in things. I'm pretty sure my truck needs lower bearings at this point, I did the upper bushings when I got it, and the camber is better, but still not 100%.

That's the kit for one side, going rate online is around that same price, most local parts stores are considerably more expensive.

Here's a pretty good re-build article:

The only difference is the wheel hub/locking hub style, as far as the axle itself is concerned, the steering and kingpins are the same on all the 89-93's, be it a 60 or 61.

here is another source for the king pin rebuild kits. you will need the 7/8 hex wrench that they offer if you do the rebuild.
