im takin a 1993 d250 long bed and makin it a short bed.. i hope tonight to have the frame cut and welded then i can finish the brake lines up and get it wired up..

dang that is gonna be awesome when its done! that thing should be a rocket too, may need slicks and hopefully its got an LSD rear

And because its a 93 it looks like it has the tall heavy frame.

yea i dont think c12h26 will make it but im gona try to have the short bed done enough to bring it down.

and yea its got the tall frame..

looks like a cool project. Hope you clean the frame up a little before you put that nice clean bed on it.

How heavy is a standard 8ft bed? Can two people left it off the frame without killing them selfs?

I had a hard time flopping a free dually bed onto a trailer with 2 guys. when the 3rd came it was much easier!

two strong people that aren't afraid to hurt the underside of their forearms...yes.

What my dad and I do is wrap our arms up under the wheel wells and use your stiff forearms to lift it up.. it'll leave red marks on your arms when you get done . If it has linex/rhino line theres no way, you would not believe how heavy that stuff is

did you finally find a bed Zack or you doing the bodywork ?

Yeah 2 guys can hoist a dually bed on a trailer, with a little bit of "scattergun" ambition...........

I see the project is comming along. U got er all registered n what not??? The gov spring n Carfax are in the mail by the way. Should see it in 2 days Rick. How'd ya make out with them 2nd gen parts for me?

just doing some hack job body work. i am no good at body work but as long as the rust goes away and the bed is strong enough to hold fire wood i will be happy.
