Nothing special... no peal outs or smoke, just a quick mix of stuff from two different drives with a camera. One of my favorite places to hang out, "Big Basin" has a so much to offer, and a hicking trail that takes you to the ocean, (10 miles) Did it in 5th Grade back in 78.

I miss Arizona...

Spent 18 months of my Military time in Yuma playing war games out in the Barry M Goldwater Air force Range. I was a corporal and played a part of running generators... (Allis Chalmers straight sixes)

Total of six of them, two each in three different pits. USMC, 2nd and first laam bn.

We ran the diesels, 7 days straight at times. Usually only 4, but it always amazed me how they kept up. Had eight 50-gallon drums of fuel at hand in each pit, and a fuel truck each day.

Totally awesome out there.... we were always out on the move setting up new positions trying to outmaneuver the F-18’s, Harriers, and all the rest… all in the deepest parts of the Sonora desert.

I was an engineer that ran the diesels that provided juice to anti aircraft missile systems. (Hawk)

Dirty diesel guys mixed with USMC braniacs! Made for a fun time.

Some amazing time out there in the field… 9 months out of the year were spent there.

WOW that awesome sounds like you had a good tim while you were in the military. AZ is great due to no rust but it is getting a bit crowded here if you ask me. Great looking truck some day I will get the body work done and get her repainted and see what she looked like back in the day
