my gauge install pics
I don't like the looks of gauges on top of the dash, so I chose a tachometer location that I havent seen done by others. All my factory gauges are clearly visible, and the dash isn't cluttered. Im pretty happy with it. I had to drill a 3/8" hole in the OEM gauge bezel overhang, but you cant see it and even if you removed the tach you still wouldnt see it. Just thought Id share the pics for those who might be interested. Sorry the lighting is bad.
The A-pillar gauge pod is the standard autometer pod, with trans temp and pyro.

Looks good.
That's a good spot for an automatic truck. I mounted mine on the column cover all the way to the right so all it blocks is the speedo over 80 mph - if I get caught doing over 80 I'm in trouble anyway. You can't mount it like that on an automatic because the mounting bolts will interfere with the dust cover moving.
