Message center led's

I am install my pyro and boost gauge where the message center was and would like to keep my low fuel and brake light. I have a couple 12v led's but I cant get them to work when I hook them up. How do you wire them properly? I just need those two as the grids, water separator, and abs fell off

Same way I have mine set up. (Only using half of these lights at the moment, the rest are just there for future use)

That's because you can't curse on this forum. Read the rules

Sweet LED install! Never thought of doing that haha, I have a/C though I don't think the message center would fit back there.

On mine I just pulled the harness back under the dash and my stock message center just kind of hangs above the gas pedal.

I plan on installing AC in my truck someday... I'll probably just get a dash pod for the gauges then. All the wiring under there is a pain to deal with.

ok I'll quit posting useless stuff.

on that note, what size resisters did you use on the led's so you can run them on 12v?

Man, someone got smacked with the ban hammer.

The led's I used had the resisters in the body, just had to hook up power and ground.

Some company in Australia. I was ordering some other stuff from them so I threw them on the order also as they were pretty cheap. I lost the bookmark for them though, but I'll see if I have the receipt saved still.

*edit* got them from here http://www.futurlec.com/LEDGen.shtml scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.

I got the LEDs from a guy from... somewhere else. He put the right resistors on them for me.
