what is the maximum amount of vertical travel the cone within the AFC travels? preferably the amount of travel when the washer has been shaved to allow for the entire cone...

When I was running a stock cone, I looked at the wear mark on the cone and saw that it wasnt going to full depth, If I remember right I filed the fiber washer down to .090" this got the pin to the deepest part of the cone. the washer is what limits the travel.
When I got an old smokey power pin it came with its own washer that was preset.

yep, and i did shave the washer for the pump on my truck.

but i am looking for the total travel of the cone in the vertical direction. 1.0" sound about right? i could tear mine apart, but its been too cold to work outside without a heated garage.
