Just curious what kind of power the DDP4's are good for asuming you have a large enough turbo, maxed out fuel screw, maxed timing, and 14psi feeding the VE at all times. I know some people have made an extremely somkey 390whp but I'm looking for a light haze burn at WOT kinda power numbers.

I run the regular DDP4s, a maxed VE w/DennyT pin timed at about 2.5mm. 60ish psig boost holds the WOT EGTs at about 1300*F. As such my heap's good for 405/840 on #2 only (automatic transmission).

Rather than stomping the pedal, rolling into it presents with a decently clean exhaust. Certainly NO heavy Cop'calling smoke screens by a long shot. Don't get me wrong, it is a '93 Cummins with the lower pop pressure VE.

I've got my OEM star-where run up as tight as I can without bind, the smoke screw all the way out. Both to keep low/no boost as smoke free as is possible. I've got an idle boost fooler that I'm gonna put on the AFC line and see if I can clean it up even more.

We'll see.

Based on the injector chart at 1stGen.org, they're a little smaller in terms of flow than a regular POD ~ http://1stgen.org/viewtopic.php?t=13...r=asc&start=60

But perhaps a better bore than flow-honing, not sure there. They are definitely cleaner than PODs for sure.

Well, how about this . . . .

An HX35/Hybrid 14WG set at 38psig boost. Same VE set up but running a home-cut fuel pin. 50/50% W/M . . . .

Note the smoke as it runs . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsSAqq--C4U

Did I mention "Stupid Hot!" ?

MUCH cleaner and cooler with the twins.

Tell me how you get the "4" part... what does it mean?

I just got the 80 horsepower injectors from them today. They're going in on New Year's day.

stock 1st gen inj - 6x.009" = .000380" total cross sectional area

2nd gen 215 tips - 4x010 = .000314(17% smaller than stock)

non ic inj - 4x12 = .000452 (19% larger than ic inj)

185's = smaller than stock

190's = smaller than stock

230's = ?

300's = ?

ddp stg III = 50 LPM (liter per minute) 5 hole extrude hone inj

330's - 5x11 = .000474 (20% larger than stock)

2nd gen 370's - 5x12 = .000565 (48% larger than stock)

ddp stg IV = 55 LPM (only 10% larger than stg III's) 5 holes <.013

pods - 4x14 = .000615 (62% larger than stock)

2nd gen 435's - 5x014 = .000769 (twice as large as stock)
I've always heard/read of the DDP's being rated in LPM. 50LPM for the stg3s and 55LPM for the stg4s. I think you got the 4s.

So there good for between 400-420whp I'm guessing. I guess I could always make up for the single turbo with the N2O. lol Not that its any easier on the HG than twins. lol

I can't remember off the top of my head right now but I want to say the twins added less than 100ft/lbs and no HP. Mostly an EGT thing.

DDP dosen't call the stage III's, stage IV's any more, They are call what the flow,
Part: #DDP 899355LPM so called 80 hp injector or stage IV's are called now 55 LPM injectors

Part: #DDP 899350LPM so called 40 hp injectors or stage III's are called now 50 LPM injectors

I run the 50LPM injectors in my truck, TLRMAN has the 55's and both set run real clean.

How does an extra 5LMP give you 2X the HP?

They should just give them in # of holes and hole size and not give a HP rating to them as the HP you get from them depends on so many variables!!

You're correct on the veriables, but it stands the more fuel flow from more lpm = more HP if you use it correctly.

You get way more power because you are BLASTING 5 MORE LITERS PER MINUTE of fuel into your engine. Five liters is a lot of fuel!

I wish I knew the cc's though and not the LPM. With cc's you can make 2hp for every one cc of fuel. So if they're 250cc injectors you could make 500hp if everything was right.
