Manual shut down lever question

I resealed the bottom half of my pump because the ksb was leaking. Figured I would just replace all the seals. Now I have a leak at the manual shut down lever. It wasn't leaking before. Should there be slight in and out play there isn't much but I can push it in and out a little. I can't figure out why it is leaking I have taken the pump all the way back off three times put new o rings in each time in case I nicked one. I have the o ring and the washer in. Anyone have any ideas I'm getting tired of pulling the pump on and off.

We'll never mind I think I got it. I tried a smaller o-ring. Guess I picked up the wrong o-ring when I was comparing the old one to the kit. Guess that's what happens when you are working on a dirty barn floor with no table
