Majorly lifted first gens

Ive seen a few first gens with lifts, but theyre mostly 37's and under. most people around here run at least 40's on there mud trucks but none have dodge diesels. i picked up a 1990 auto 4x4 for 500$ and would like to turn it into a strictly mud bogger. i want to see some pics of these trucks with HUGE tires. like 40'' and over. maybe even tractor tires. i know other people want to see it to so bring em on!

I think weight is a major disadvantage for a diesel in that sport.

not really. the weight gives them more traction and endless torque to get em rolling

Mine did awesome in the mud with 38's or 40's. And I was even running the 3.55 gears even. I'm not so sure about an automatic though. Better dump a lot of coin into that to hold up. This is a pic with 38's. lots of clearance still.

I think 6" of suspension lift front/rear with another 4" of drop shackles in the front and get some drop shackles/flip for the rear so it can be level without the rear block with bushwacker cut outs with some 44" boggers would be sick.

It would indeed be massive.

This thread shows a trck with 2" lift and 40" tires with fender ut out flares, probably bushwacker. Use your imagination for the other 8" of lift and 4" of tire I'm referring to

6" susp. and 2" body on 38's would look tough and be relatively cheap without getting too custom

Traction bars and dual steering stabilizers and some nitro 9000 shocks , look good too.
