Looking For Some Wheels
Looking For Some Wheels
This is the situation. I have decided that I would like some wheels to make my ugly old 1st gen. a little less ugly. There are some nice looking wheels out there, but I want this particular design, which I cannot find. I do not know what brand they are, but someone I know used to have a 90 something ford with them, and I never see him to ask him what they were. Anyway, I have been looking through every website that I can think of. So far:
American Racing
American Eagle
Weld
Alcoa
And nothing so far....
If someone can give me a few more wheel manufacturers to check out or maybe a website that sells many different brands of wheels, that would be great.
Thanks for any help.

im not into it either i was originally only gonna buy 18's but then decided on the 20's bcuz they were so cheap. im not really into the lowrider type stuff more hotrodded street truck style thing
Well, I have to say that it is original. Thats the first older Dodge that I have ever seen with those kind of wheels. I would like to make a street outfit with my grandpa's old 71 Chevy. That would be ****, especially if I stuck a diesel in there!
Ya theres no such thing as a street diesel truck where i live there all 4x4's and work trucks. If you let me know what kind of style of wheels your looking for i can help you find them. good luck
Ok, they looked alot like this:

This is a very common style, but the wheels that I am looking for do not have perfectly round holes like these. The holes are almost heart-shaped, or something like that, if that is any help. I need the wheels 16X7 or 16X8 size.

Modern makes the aftermarket wheel that I put on my truck (there's a pic in my photo gallery). I got them through Les Schwab Tire Centers here in the west. The solid aluminum wheel means there's no brake dust either....
The round holes are the classic Alcoas. Can't go wrong with them. They're the strongest aluminum wheel on the market. On my Grand Cherokee I have a set of Mickey Thompson wheels. They were made by Alcoa as well. "Hot Forged." I love them. I really like this style on the trucks as well.
