Looking for a simple solution...

Does anyone know of a place I can simply call and order a replacement o-ring for the fuel heater on my '92 model (1st Gen Cummins)? The local dealers don't stock them (too old). They require that I drive to the dealership, pay first, they order it, then I have to drive back again (in about a week) to pick it up. Parts houses don't even know what it is. There's got to be a better way.

Do you have a cummins or case dealer local. I would try there.

Silver, here in Bakersfield we have a large O-ring shop. Any size of O-ring I've ever taken down their they've been able to match up. Cheap too, usually around a dollar each.

Just call your closest cummins distributor, with your ESN number, they will look it up and ship it to your door. Paid with a CC of course.

Got lucky... Cummins/Atlantic in Charlotte had what I needed, and my son is working near there today. The o-ring is less than a dollar, and the delivery is free!
