Look at what followed me home
This is what happens when I'm not working and can check craigslist a couple times per day. It was listed in auto parts for $500. It had been posted for 4 hours and I figured it was probably gone already! Bought it first thing the next morning form a real nice Mopar guy, sometimes ya run into some real sketchy charactors when trying to buy old iron, not the case with this one. The missus ain't real happy bout it tho, I think she will get over it. At that price I can't lose on the deal.

It has no motor (less to get rid of!), bad auto trans, needs rust repair in the front driver side floor, it's got an amazingly dent free roof (don't these old trucks usually get walked on all over?). The only parts I'm keeping are the cab, rear doors, frame, rear diff and front end stuff so I can roll it for now.
Believe it or not, I'm planning on combining these two trucks since I can't afford to buy another for a sheet metal/running gear donor. also, I know the condition of my old junk compared to the unknown of someone elses old junk, if that makes sense.

Some more pictures showing some of the fine features of this rig including, nautical theme hood ornament, reinforced mirror and ventilated floor. Can anyone shed some light on where this truck was stationed?
Google search, why didn't I think of that? I came up with Travis AFB about 2 hours from here, makes sense because it has a Commieforneeah emissions tag in the corner of the windshield. So the truck's rust issues are from leaking door seals which also explains why the rest is pretty much rust free - except above the windshield.
Dont know that I'd use your 93 for a doner rig. that thing looks pretty nice. Look for a rusted out one with a good motor trans. They're out there. I picked one up a few months back for my conv.
With the title I was kind of hopen you had pics of some 18, 19 yr old blond.

No guarantees but was probably there, or the decal was!
The clue is 312TH ALS. (Location central Texas) If you were ever in the military that shield decal would stand out like a beacon in the dark:
