What is it that makes truck loap or hunt? How would one go about making one do it?

Are you talking about like a SBC with to big of a cam and big exhaust and way over carburated, sound.
There are many ways to make it sound like it's a ****** off truck but most all of them would be bad for the engine and would do nothing but hurt performance.
I guess I'm not understanding what you are wanting to achive by this. A little more explantion would be needed.

On a p-pump that is done with governor spring bounce and lots and lots of timing

on a diesel forum, there are no gas pedals, same thing with gas mileage, its the diesel pedal and diesel mileage

throttle pedal works too. I have found that gas is not in my vocabulary (correct me if i say it) but I always say "fuel" even if we are talking about a dirt bike. lol. When my mom tells me that I waste "gas" I tell her that my four-wheeler hasn't moved in several months.
