Well since I like making my truck my own.. I decided I need to add a little bling to it..

I looked all over ebay and other sites and no one in good condition..

So I stopped in at dealer and I was amazed they ordered me a Brand New one

Oh and since I am kinda a Computer geek I added my updates so far to my website:
http://www.impaks.com/dodge92w250.asp

Marking and prepping area

Here is the Bling..

Here is truck now with camper shell on it...

Mine already had the holes but the Ram was missing. That was about the second thing I bought on Ebay for it. Looks real good and reflects the cab lights at night.

You bought a truck without the hood ornament!

I can't tell you how many 70,000 mile, repainted, $3,000 trucks I passed up because they didn't have a hood ornament!

I think I'm gonna need to replate mine or something when I get an oppurtunity (a la find somebody who can do it). After 300,000 Iehs the Ram is getting some flakes on the horns.

Too funny I was thinking about doing something similar. I'm on my 3rd
Dodge truck and none of them have had a Ram's head.

You could just get a first gen like all of the cool people.

No need to be a poser like that, dude.

(Just kidding... Sort of. )

EDIT: (Oh, crap, you already have a first gen. I thought you had a third gen. Well, errr, darn...)

This is my 3rd first gen, first was a '73 Club Cab Short box, was my offroad toy for awhile(was too heavy!), second was an '85 4X4 reg cab, reg box,4spd, it was my tow vehicle as it had the built up 360 I pulled from my old '73 when it passed on. Pulled almost as hard as my Cummins does but it was WAY too hard on fuel and we needed a club cab very badly when my daughter came along.

Yeah, I thought that you said that you had a 3rd gen, not a 3rd first gen.

So I thought that you were putting a ram's head on the 3rd gen.

Oopsie.

Had a customer who got a ram's head gold plated and put it on his 93. Now THAT was bling.

Wonder how one would look on my 2nd gen? Probably kinda goofy on that big round hood.
