today I was puting in my borgston steering shaft. SO here I am removing the rag joint and I see my firewall is cracked at the E brake bolts. Their right under the main wiring harness going into the cab.

So i check for the dreded cowl cracks. None thank god. I can fix the crack easy weld.
Now for the ? will RWAL work with line locks? Also later on in time I'll be putin disks on the rear will the RWAL work with disks

 

I was thinking that same thing. I think if I put a line lock on mine I will put it on the front brakes only.

 

The line lock won't affect the ABS.

The the RWAL won't work with discs, the reservoir in the dump valve is sized for wheel cylinders. The larger volume of calipers will mean it will only be able to dump the pressure a couple times instead of 20.

Ok the dump valve is too small. How about a bigger valve off a different truck ? the 03 and up dodges have rear disks. Or its that a adifferent system ?

 

That's a 4 wheel system and would be a lot of work to adapt.

 

I dont want to adapt the whole system. Is there a bigger dump valve to make the WRAL work with rear disks?

 

Got line lock on the front of my 93. Works fine.
